Boater Reviews
Truck has been broken into twice. Both times they smashed my window and I have heard of other peoples vehicles being done the same way. Suggest not leaving any valuables in car or truck and leaving windows open to avoid the same thing happening to you.
I did love it because it's clean&a safe access to the river. That is until my truck was robbed blind while I was in the river. I highly suggest that should you use this ramp you leave absolutely nothing in the bed of your truck(they even stole a broken lunch cooler). I wish they would install some trail cams&more lights for early morning&night usage. Unfortunately, it only takes a few minutes to ruin a great day of boating&I have only seen police presence 2x out of like 50x I have used the ramp. Put up more lights&cameras&I will happily go to a 5 star rating. Until then....3 is even pushing it.
This boat ramp is garbage. You will be lucky to find it. It needs a sign on 301/ wilmington road intersection. You will be disappointed when you do find it because of condition of the road, ramp and saftey concern. Would be afraid of being broken into if you park there with a nice vehicle and trailer. Went there today. Water was a little high, but ramp was buckled and first half was under water or missing. Saw a van there with a guy in the back doing something in the handicap spot. He had no trailer attached.wih I could post a picture
