Oh man!!! I will be going back. Went to photograph birds. There were lots of them in the trees, I was hoping for Swallowtail Kites, but only saw Mississippi kites, way off in the distance....still thrilled me! BEAUTIFUL SPOT!!!! QUIET and so relaxing. I totally enjoyed my short time there.

Wonderful watering hole, fun to float down the river and have a picnic!

Norman Smith

Nice landing to launch boats or kayaks in the South Fork Edisto River. Small swimming area. SCDOT just paved a new entrance. Located near Duke’s BBQ and Little Howie’s.

Sharon White

nice big landing with a lot of parking. The Edisto River is wonderful but a little tricky to navigate. There are areas to get out + carry around or lift over, with some current, but so beautiful + different around every turn + there are many turns or bends in the river.

Steve Barton

Nice landing on the Edisto river. Used by some locals as a "party" place. A big effort has been made to keep it clean. A small swimming area that claims a life every couple of years.
