Boater Reviews
Nice place to Paddle Board. Not much boat traffic and protected from the wind.
Beautiful scenery, the water is very blue. Excellent place to fish. Clean and well kept up. I gave four stars because the parking would be nice to have near the ramp other than that this is a beautiful serene place to either fish off of the shore, launch your boat or even a kayak. There are multiple parking areas as well. Handicap parking is right near the boat dock which I think is excellent.
This lake is absolutely beautiful. My friend and I went fishing here today in his jon boat and I can't believe the amount of huge and beautiful homes that have been built all around the lake! Most were mansions actually. Although we spent a good 4 or 5 hours on the lakes and got several bites, we caught NO fish! The weather was absolutely perfect rough especially for middle of March, it was about 69 degrees for most of the day and sunny with little very little breeze. Other than the sign warning of possible nuclear explosions nearby and what to do if you hear the sirens going off for it (which was very intimidating to read) I jad an absolute wonderful time at this beautiful lake and can't wait to go back again!
Clean and lots of space to park. There is handicap parking and also a public bathroom. It is a little remote and know some people who have had damage done to vehicles left unattended at night.
I LOVE the boat landing!!! I've been going here for 35 years. My 5 grown sons now take their children here. Never had a problem with anyone. No fighting, drinking, plenty of fishing spots. I would HIGHLY Recommend this place to anyone...
