Live Oak boat landing has easy access for boat launching, you can launch two boats at a time. There is a pier with a nice view (no fishing from pier). But you can fish from the launching ramp, we caught whiting and croaker. We saw what I believe are the same two dolphins I've seen the last two visits. Plenty of parking. There is self pay ($5.00 I think) as you enter the gate. It's usually my first stop when fishing that area. (cut mullet always produces)....

Easy parking and boat launch close to parking area! Be sure to check the tide schedule or set up shuttle if you are kayaking or paddleboarding...it can be beastly getting back if you time it wrong!

Nothing fancy. 2 decent ramps and a fishing pier. This is part of the State Park, so requires admission. No extra fee if you're staying in the state campground. Just fine for getting back into the marsh or out on the big water.

Doug Gutschow

$8 per adult and $4 per child to launch a boat.

Just a warning if you are out of practice launching or loading your boat. If you are not there very close to high or low tide the current us very fast. I have seen it move my tandem wheel boar trailer. You may need to make several attempts to load your boat especially if the wind is blowing. At low tide you very well may run off the end of the ramp and damage your trailer. With experience one can avoid either problem. Been there and have done both.
