Boater Reviews
8.18.24 We arrived here at 10 am, and the landing parking spots we at about 40% capacity. We launched our jetskis and found a parking spot. Several other patrons were behind us, so I am sure it filled up quickly. They had two ramps available. Nicely maintained, ridged concrete for grip. But the tide!! We launch the skis all the time as a team. My role is to offload by starting one and pulling the other by the ski rope. The tide was really strong, and this was one of the more difficult launches. Loading up was just as tough, but the tide was going the opposite way. Be prepared for that! There's a lot to like about this landing: Clean, well maintained. The dock was in great shape, and there was a separate dock that was covered for fishing. The parking lot was gravel but well maintained. The tide ruined it for me.
Great public landing easy ride to nice sandy areas to hang out for the day. Easy to get in and out of as the landing is concrete. It has a dock to tie up to as well while your parking the boat. There was also a fishing dock for anyone wanting to fish right there at the landing.
Capacity is limited- not a large facility. But it's pretty and peaxeful. The tide can rip through the Stono there - sometimes it's just fun to watch the noobs bounce their boats off the dock, trailer, each other 😈
Small boat ramp with very limited parking. Ge there early or you will not have a spot, and a lot of the people putting their boats in have no clue what they are doing. There is only one dock, and it is not very long, so there is not a lot of space if you need to tie up for a minute. They do have a place to put any oysters you have eaten. Also, lock your doors, and do not leave anything there over night.
This is a nice Publix spot. Only thing is all the oysters are there hard to walk on and please don't try to fish there till there is great fishing in that area you'll notice that you will lose your line due to the large amount of rocks and oyster beds. There are no public restrooms or any other amenities except for the ramp.
